This rig has been up to the Arctic Ocean … in the winter and parts of Alaska. It’s been in the sand, the snow, the ice, and the mud all over the Pacific Northwest and up through Canada.
Every time I drive it, I’m impressed at how well-sorted it is. Do I wish it were faster? Kinda. But it’s been dead-nuts reliable, and after 35 years, is still mostly rattle-free. This was our second Pajero, but sometimes I wonder if this will be a “forever 4WD.” It’s just so well sorted!
